Send Money to Philippines Online from Korea

You have at least 4 ways to send money to the Philippines online from Korea.

Choose from 3 banks and one online money transfer operator.

First,  ask your recipient in the Philippines to open a remittance account in the Philippines.
If BDO, puedeng Kabayan savings account or International Remittance Account (IRA)
If BPI, puedeng Pamana Padala, Padala Moneyger or Pamana Savings Account with Free Life Insurance.

Get your recipient's bank name, account name, account number, bank branch or location and Swift code (just in case the remittance product you will choose requires a Swift code).

Then open a remittance account in any of the following 3 Korean banks.

Korea Exchange Bank Remittance to and from Korea

You can send US dollars from South Korea to the Philippines or from the Philippines to South Korea through Korea Exchange Bank.

For remittances to the Philippines, the fee is only US$10 for amounts up to US$4,000.
For more than US$4,000, the remittance fee is 0.25% of the remitted amount, with a maximum fee of US$100.

For remittances to South Korea, the cable charge is US$15 for each remittance transaction.

NO LIMITS.  There are no limits to the amounts of US dollars sent to and from the Philippines.
